Sustainable Traffic Signs
for a Cleaner Tomorrow<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Climate Signs was founded to develop sustainable, circular and innovative traffic signs and other street and city furniture for municipalities and provinces.\nWith our innovations we are in the middle of a current social debate focused on sustainability but especially on concrete solutions.\nIn the field of signage (traffic signs) and other street and city furniture, we create sustainable added value, which we link to a digital online GIS platform. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Climate Signs also contributes to digital public space management and extended product life cycles through innovation and SMART connectivity.
During the production and distribution stage, we work with our supply chain partners to reduce our CO2 emissions to 0 kg of CO2. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cyclic raw materials used in our traffic signs are 100% recycled (waste) originating from our own Netherlands.\nClimate Signs stands for CO2-neutral and sustainable product development in an energy-neutral environment with the goal of ensuring a healthy living environment for current and future generations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together with our supply chain partners, we are building a CO2-free Netherlands.

Why are we doing this?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

With the formulation of the Paris climate goals and the Raw Materials Agreement, the need for “rethinking” has gained momentum. The coalition agreement underlines the need for innovation in the construction and infrastructure sector. The core of the coalition agreement is to provide perspective for addressing the major issues of this decade. The Dutch climate goals are laid down centrally in the Climate Act<\/a>. To be climate neutral by 2050 at the latest, the government is tightening the 2030 target in the Climate Act to at least 55 percent CO2 reduction. By appointing a Minister of Climate and Energy, the implementation power of the State and co-governments will be strengthened so that the transition can be accelerated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To achieve a complete transition to 100% circular and carbon-neutral products, Climate Signs was established in early 2020.\nWithin the infra sector ‘signage’, Climate Signs is one of the sustainable innovation engines.\nWe realize new cross-links within sectors and chain partners.\nThe sustainable challenges remain unabated, as a result of which chain cooperation within existing and new production and distribution chains, as well as public-private cooperation, have proven invaluable.\nThe distinctiveness of Climate Signs finds its origin in sustainable thinking and especially doing. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

In order to generate maximum sustainable returns, we have built an ecosystem of suppliers, resellers and end users in recent years.\nTo achieve CO2 conversion within the infra-sector signage, a raw material transition must be achieved.\nTraditional raw materials must be reused if possible (Refurbishing) and recycled raw materials must be applied within a new production cycle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only within an open ecosystem can we jointly bring about the sustainable transition.\nTogether with our chain partners, we enable cities and regions to play a pioneering role within (inter)national goals in an accessible and affordable way. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Sustainable Materials: We use 100% recycled and cyclical raw materials for our traffic signs and street and city furniture.\nBy reusing waste materials from the Netherlands, we reduce the need for new raw materials and contribute to the circular economy. <\/li>\n\n\n\n

CO2-Neutral Production: During the production and distribution stage, we work intensively with our supply chain partners to reduce our CO2 emissions to zero.\nWe use energy-efficient processes, renewable energy sources and compensation programs to achieve carbon-neutral operations. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Smart Technology: We integrate digital and SMART connectivity into our traffic signs and street furniture.\nThis enables us to manage and optimize public spaces more efficiently, reducing energy consumption and CO2 emissions. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Extended Life Cycles: Through innovation, we strive to extend the product life cycles of our products.\nWe design them to be durable and long-lasting, reducing the need for replacement and the associated CO2 emissions. <\/li>\n\n\n\n

    Climate Signs develops sustainable, circular and innovative traffic signs and other street and city furniture.\nWe strive for high quality products that are both functional and environmentally friendly.\nOur products are manufactured using 100% recycled and cyclical raw materials, sourced from the Netherlands, in order to promote the circular economy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Our traffic signs and street furniture contribute to reducing CO2 emissions.\nDuring the production and distribution process, we work with our supply chain partners to reduce our CO2 emissions to zero, thus striving for carbon-neutral operations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In addition, we use smart technologies and digital connectivity to manage public spaces more efficiently.\nThis enables municipalities and road authorities to reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions.\nWe also strive to extend the life cycles of our products, reducing the need for replacement and associated CO2 emissions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
